Fairlane Road Pedestrian and Street Safety (PASS)
The Fairlane Road Pedestrian and Street Safety (PASS) is another example of continued commitment by the City of Tallahassee to enhance the transportation network and improve quality of life. The roadway, which currently lacks any pedestrian facilities, will receive major safety improvements that benefit all drivers, cyclists and pedestrians. The design includes ditch enclosures as well as the addition of new sidewalks along both sides of the road. Further enhancements include updated pedestrian crossing conditions in the area.
To learn more about the project, please join us for an open house, as detailed below. City staff from the Underground Utilities & Public Infrastructure Department will be present to discuss the proposed sidewalk project, answer your questions and receive feedback from you and your neighbors. The meeting will have an open house style format allowing you the flexibility to come and go at your convenience. As a resident or business owner in the area, your feedback will help refine the design concept and plans for this project.
